The Rector is the legal representative of the University, who, assisted by the Board of Governors, carries out the functions of the post via proposal and impetus with respect to the other governing bodies of the University. Moreover the Rector also ensures the consistency of the policies approved by the Academic Senate and by the University Council and is responsible for their implementation.
