Internships
The University's internships aim to help students and graduates from the Università degli Studi di Perugia come into direct contact with the world of work, through the implementation of job placements within Companies, Bodies and Associations. An internship is an important opportunity of professional growth for students who have either completed or are about to complete their study programme. The maximum duration of an internship is 12 months, while for differently-able students, 24 months.
There are two types of internships: curricular and extra-curricular.
- Curricular internships enable students to accumulate training credits, and are managed directly by each individual Faculty
- Extra-curricular internships are instead addressed to:
- Students about to graduate
- Graduates from a period not exceeding 18 months
- Students carrying out research doctorates or attending academic specialisation schools or courses, even in the 18 months subsequent to the completion of their studies.
The Internship Service offers both students and graduates information regarding, for instance, regulations regarding the labour market, administrative management and tutoring, meetings with companies and recruiting sessions.
