Educational objectives
The student will demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the principles and means of thermal treatment, as well as the classical methods and recent acquisition necessary for the study of such knowledge. The student will have appropriated scientific approach, reasoned and consequential damages, such as to actually build the store of basic knowledge necessary for the exercise of his profession.
Prerequisites
In order to understand and use the concepts described in teaching it is necessary to have basic knowledge of Physics, Biochemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology of some of the disciplines that already carried out in the three-year course of Physical Education
Teaching methods
Frontal lessons with the use of visual media and discussion in the classroom with the students
Learning verification modality
The examination includes an oral exam consisting of a discussion of 25-30 minutes aimed at ascertaining the level of knowledge and understanding reached by the student on the topics presented in class and listed in the program. The student must demonstrate the ability to learn about the basic characteristics of thermal waters and key nutraceuticals, their potential uses in various physiological states and in the prevention of chronic diseases. The oral exam will also allow you to check the student's communication skills, his command of language, the ability to apply the acquired skills and develop solutions while maintaining its independence
