Educational objectives
To understand theoretical and pratical aspects of the application of ionizing radiation to diagnosis and treatment of human disease.
Examples will concern: oncological radiotherapy (calculation of the radiation dose, calculation of the optimal beam geometry, ...); radiology (calculation of dose indicators); nuclear medicine (radionuclide incorporation models); radiation protection (analysis of the impact of a radiological emergency)
