Train the student to a general view of the problems and then intervene promptly without altering the other components of the ecosystem.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of botanical disciplines and basic concepts of vegetation science.

Frontal lessons, practical lessons, field trips and field observations.

Management or conservation? There is no management without conservation. Loss of biodiversity and consequences on natural and cultivated plant vegetation. Norms that have historically tried to reduce the loss of biodiversity and the conservation of rare species at local and national level.
From species to habitats: habitat concept, habitat and plant communities, plant loss and fragmentation of plants communities, European norms for species and habitat conservation standards, the establishment of SICs and ZPSs.
