Educational objectives
Establish a relationship with the assisted person and the reference persons by adapting the communication, taking into account their reactions to the health problem, treatment, treatment contexts and refraining from judgements. Identify the needs of Nursing Assistance of the assisted person at medium/low complexity, evaluating the level of autonomy in relation to the health problem and the therapeutic diagnostic path, the prognosis, his life plan.
To carry out the assistance interventions adapting them to the assisted person and respecting safety, quality standards, ethical and ethical principles.

Prerequisites
Medical fitness to access the internships in safety- Regular attendance of the courses of the 1 year-Attendance and passing of laboratories - Participation in courses proposed by the host structures. Participation in the Workplace Safety Course
Teaching methods
Physical and active presence of the student at the host care facilities.
To support the student in the complex first year clinical learning experience, in addition to the support of an experienced nurse tutor, the following strategies will be activated: Guided Internship, debriefing
Guided Peer Training :
the student of the first year will be supported by the student attending the third year (senior) who, after being prepared for this role, will act for
- Facilitate its integration into the operational structure
- Guide him in understanding the functions of various components of the care team, the aims of the facility and the priority problems of the patients he is dealing with.
- Help it to adopt, in all circumstances, relevant occupational risk prevention systems for the protection of its own and others' safety
- Support him in experimenting with the professional relationship with the assisted person, family members/caregivers
- Support him in achieving certain priority clinical competences (reception of the assisted person, first-level assessment, monitoring of vital parameters, management of self-care issues, patient mobilisation)
Debriefing :is a privileged opportunity to reflect and learn from experience. Considering the peculiarities of the first year, the debriefings are mandatory and will have different purposes: sharing the internship experience, evaluating the emotional impact of the first internship experience, getting to know the Operations Unit/Service, develop skills related to the assessment and observation of the assisted person, etc.
