Educational objectives
acquiring skills to approach pedagogical counseling from an anthropological perspective and to explore the relations between education and the city life.

Knowledge of the foundations of the history, thinking, and practice of educational anthropology in line with the objectives of the CoS and acquisition of additional cultural foundations necessary for teaching.
- Knowledge of the history, practices, and doctrines of the anthropology of education in its historical evolution, with particular focus on the modern era, in line with the educational objectives of the CdS: refinement of general knowledge of the historical evolution of anthropological thought.
The course also hopes to develop skills in the theoretical elaboration of pedagogical-anthropological thought in the various cultural contexts of the earth with regard to issues concerning man in his dimensions, social and political, religious, aesthetic and cognitive, in line with line with the objectives of the CdS (skills).
Finally, the course aims to provide skills necessary to pose as a cultural mediator with migrants from those cultural contetssi related to cultural minorities, voluntary and involuntary, living in Italy and Europe.
Prerequisites
Perfect Knowledge of Italian language. In order to be able to understand and cope with the course, the student must possess the general notions related to the studied context and to the organization of the subject, both from the programmatic
aspect and from the aspect of his human presence and responsibility, notions that the student should already have acquired in the course of schooling. This prerequisite applies to both attending and nonattending students.
Teaching methods
The prevailing teaching method involves frontal classroom lectures aided, when necessary, by multimedia tools; practical exercises in reading papers, translation and analysis and digital anthropology workshops applied
are also planned, held by collaborators and scholars in the subject. In-depth seminars are also planned on pedagocial anthropology
Other information
In the second and final part of the course, the student is required to write term papers and communicate them to the class
Learning verification modality
Oral or written final examinations, by choice of the student, aiming at validate:

5. Learning skills, understood as the ability necessary to advance in studies with a high degree of autonomy.
