| Learning verification modality | The exam consists of a final oral test, i.e. a discussion-interview on each student's work. The interview will verify that the student is able to present his or her work with method, propriety of language and of exposure. The duration of the test varies depending on the performance of the test itself. In case a student intends to anticipate his/her exam in a year preceding the one it is scheduled in his/her curriculum, it is recommended to anticipate as well the attendance of the lessons and to schedule the exam in the first useful session after the lessons have been concluded. |

| Contents | This course will deal with how cinema portrays school life through the study of a number of important films. |

| Extended program | This course will deal with how cinema portrays school life through the study of a number of important Italian, European and American films. Films will range from famous classics of the 1960s and 1970s to productions of the 1990s and 2000s, and we will discuss the diverse images of school life, adolescence and generational conflicts that they convey. The course will adeguately consider the double line of study "kindergarten" and "primary school" offered by the degree program. |
