Contents
The course presents the basic themes of human geography, population and population movements, settlement; the relationships between population and territory are seen above all in terms of cultural geography. Insights are dedicated to examples of territorial enhancement (cultural, ecosystem, environmental).

Educational objectives
To achieve satisfactory knowledge of general and human geography in particular; know how to apply these concepts to the study of territorial assets (monumental and architectural, environmental, landscape.
Prerequisites
A basic knowledge of general Geography.

Learning verification modality
A written test with open questions (about three questions with answers each of fifteen lines) and oral on the same topics of the course.

Extended program
Territorial characteristics of the population: distribution and density, natural movement, short and long range migrations. Economic sectors and their modeling. The relationship between man and the environment in its many forms. The concept of cultural heritage. Capitalization. Territorial enhancement through national and international regulations and recognitions. Perception and planning of the inhabited territory.
