Other information
The students follow two parts of each course: a theoretical part of the course concerning the linguistics and translatological analysis of the language that lasts one semester; and a practical part of the course that is taught at the CLA (Centro Linguistico di Ateneo) and lasts for the whole year (both semesters, 80 hours) aimed at learning and practising the language. The objective of this practical part is to achieve a C2 level of linguistic knowledge.
International language certifications (considered valid for two years for the entrance exam) do not exempt the student from the final course exam held at the end of the annual language courses at the CLA. This examination is mandatory to access the theoretical part of the exam with your Professor in the Department.
