In accordance with the Teaching Regulations of the Degree Course (as published on the website: http://www.med.unipg.it/ccl/ScInfeOst_PG/Regolamento_Didattico/Regolamento_Magistrale_Sc_Inf_Ost_16_17.pdf), the student must be able, in the field of cardiovascular diseases, as relevant to the specific professional figure, to: - to identify and critically assess the evolution of care needs, including gender-related issue where applicable; - to participate in planning of personal assistance needs based on the assessment of the complexity and needs of patients; promote decision-making processes and plan and intervene in complex welfare and organizational issues; - to plan and implement, in collaboration with other professionals, educational and support interventions for individuals and communities, aimed at self-management and control of risk factors and health problems; - to identify future skills / competences necessary to guarantee excellence, new reorganizations or new services; design, implement and evaluate the results of training interventions; identify specific problems and areas of research in the clinical, organizational and training fields.

It is necessary that the student has basic pathophysiological, clinical and diagnostic knowledge, as pertaining to the specific professional figure, in the area of Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine and theoretical-practical training.
