Contents | Description of chemical and biological wastewater treatment processes. Overview of the different methods and technologies used to control the release of air pollutants from urban and industrial sources. Appropriate methods of storage, collection, transfer, treatment and disposal of solid wastes for industrialised and developing countries. |

Teaching methods | Lessons, field work sessions (sampling of environmental matrices) and educational visit to a water purification plants and to an remote atmospheric monitoring station. |
