- The course aims to provide the basic guidelines necessary for organising, managing, developing and consulting archives for administrative and historical purposes, in all three phases of their life: current, deposit and historical. Theoretical lessons will be integrated with guided visits to some important archives in Perugia and practical exercises on the use of archival inventories. Particular attention will be paid to the organisation and inventory of archives.
- Prerequisites
- In order to be able to understand how to tackle the course, students must have cultural and historical basic notions; these are notions that the student should have already aquired in his/her school curriculum.
- Teaching methods
- The course is organized as follows: frontal lessons on the course topics; other activities (meetings, visits to archives, etc.).
- Other information
- For further information, you can contact the professors.
- Learning verification modality
- The exam consists of a final oral examination that assesses the student's knowledge and ability to understand and synthesize the topics covered during the course and deepened through the recommended texts. The oral examination will verify the student's ability to communicate what they have learned and how they do it, including language properties and exposition methods. The exam duration is approximately 20 minutes, but it may vary depending on the course of the examination itself. Students with disabilities and/or DSA for the verification test format can benefit from inclusive technologies, compensatory tools, and dispensative measures provided by the regulations. Please contact the instructor well in advance. For more information: https://lettere.unipg.it/home/disabilita-e-dsa
