# Si avvisa che, a causa della mancata revisione dei programmi del docente, i contenuti del presente Syllabus sono stati importati dall'anno accademico precedente. In attesa degli aggiornamenti ufficiali da parte del docente medesimo, si prega di fare riferimento a queste informazioni con la consapevolezza che potrebbero non rispecchiare gli eventuali cambiamenti apportati dal singolo docente nell’A.A. di riferimento. Ci scusiamo per il disguido e invitiamo gli studenti a verificare eventuali modifiche direttamente con il docente durante il corso # Partendo dalle definizioni della sintomatologia psichiatrica tradizionale, con riferimento alla psichiatria descrittiva si tratteranno successivamente i rapporti della psichiatria con le neuroscienze e si prenderanno quindi in esame i psincipali disturbi psichiatrici e di personalità come classificati dal DSM 5. In seguito verranno trattati i fondamenti di psichiatria psicodinamica. La parte successiva prenderà in considerazione le terapie psichiatriche (farmacoterapia, psicoterapia, cenni di riabilitazione psicosociale). Nella parte conclusiva si tratterà il problema delle urgenze psichiatriche e le normative correlate.

Educational objectives
Lo studente dovrà apprendere le nozioni basiche e fondanti della disciplina psichiatrica, tappa fondamentale per creare quella rete di conoscenze che porteranno, nello sviluppo del processo formativo, alla comprensione della complessità della disciplina. La conoscenza e l'acquisizione degli elementi di base permetterà, allo studente, da un lato di decodificare un fenomeno complesso ed spesso incomprensibile quali sono i disturbi psichiatrici e dall'altro di acquisire quelle informazioni indispensabili per la comprensione storica ed esistenziale dei pazienti affetti da tali disturbi. Facilitare la confidenza con la psichiatria, farà si che lo studente, attraverso questo processo acquisirà delle competenze professionali che rimarranno parte di sé e della personale prassi medico-sanitaria.

Understanding the cognitive and affective aspects that come into play when a child meets a doctor, a nurse, a rehabilitation therapist is extremely important in order to establish the best possible therapeutic alliance with the child himself and his family. During the course, human psychological development will be described in its essential features, from classical theories to applied aspects, with the aim of providing the indispensable basic knowledge needed by health professionals who find themselves working in close contact with children
