Learning verification modality
The examination includes a final oral assessment consisting of a discussion-based interview covering the topics addressed during the course and explored in greater depth in the recommended reading. The assessment is designed to evaluate the student’s level of knowledge, comprehension and ability to summarise the material. Furthermore, this interview will assess the student’s ability to communicate what they have learnt in a methodical manner, using appropriate language and clear presentation. The duration of the exam varies depending on how the exam progresses. In April, during the academic break, students attending classes will be able to sit a learning assessment which, if passed, will exempt them from the first part of the syllabus. The mark for this exemption will be averaged with the mark obtained in the subsequent second part of the exam.
