The Portal uses exclusively technical cookies to improve the navigation experience and to gather aggregate information on the number of users and on how they use the Portal. However, third party service providers are present (attaining to social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google) that could use cookie profiling. The gathering and processing of such cookies is regulated by relative notices:

When navigating the Portal users are provided the opportunity to decide whether to give or deny consent to the installation of cookies by way of a notice posted and highlighted at the bottom of the screen. By continuing to navigate or by deleting the notice the user accepts the use of cookies thus allowing use of all functions of the Portal.

The Portal uses two types of technical cookies: navigation cookies and monitoring cookies.

Navigation Cookies

These are cookies managed directly by the Portal and are used to improve the navigation experience on its web pages. Specifically, they are used to track the preferences in relation to the dimensions, contrast, and layout of the text and to allow participation in polls or sending of problem reports.

Monitoring Cookies

The Portal uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc.

Google Analytics uses cookies to allow Portal administrators to analyze users’ utilization of the Portal. The information generated by the cookies, including the user’s IP address, is transmitted to and deposited with the Google server. Google uses this information for the purpose of tracking and examining your use of the Portal, compile reports on the activity of the website for the Portal administrators and to provide other services related to the activity of website and use of the internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where such transfer is imposed by law or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The script used on this Portal sends the information regarding your IP address in an anonymous manner. Therefore, Google will not associate your IP address with any other information in Google’s possession.

Users may, however, at any time refuse to use the above-mentioned cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in their browser, but this could impede them from using all of the Portal’s functions. You can refuse to use cookies by installing or selecting the appropriate setting  in your browser.

By using the Portal users consent to the processing of their information by Google for the above-mentioned procedures. The information generated by Google Analytics are conserved by Google, as indicated in the technical documentation available on the official website or in Google’s official cookie policy documents.

Privacy policies may be consulted on the official website of Google, Inc., the autonomous owner of information processed by Google Analytics
