- The proposed course in the third year addresses the theme of interviewing and qualitative research. It aims to provide students with knowledge and understanding of:
- The relationship between theoretical models and operational practices of interviewing in various application areas, and to provide theoretical, conceptual, and technical tools related to different types of interviews (clinical, HR, research).
- The developmental trajectory of qualitative research, including its tools and applicability. - Prerequisites
- NO
- Teaching methods
- The course is structured as follows:
- Lectures covering all topics related to interviewing and qualitative research.
- Thematic discussions, construction of a qualitative research project, and simulation of interview conduct through in-class workshops.
- Participation in any seminars as required. - Other information
- NO
- Learning verification modality
- The examination consists of a final oral test, which involves a discussion-interview on the topics covered during the course and those elaborated in the recommended texts. The test aims to assess the level of knowledge and understanding, as well as the ability to synthesize, achieved by the student. Additionally, the interview will verify the student's ability to communicate what they have learned with method, language propriety, and clarity of exposition. The duration of the exam varies depending on the progress of the test itself.
- Extended program
- The course will focus on introductory theoretical reflections on interviewing, its constituent aspects, and various types and fields of application. Additionally, it will present theories of qualitative research development, from historical evolution to methodological debate, covering premises, constituent elements, and various tools.
