Materials supplied by the professor - Educational objectives
- The course introduces the student to issues relating to human-computer interaction (HCI) and the presentation of guidelines for the creation of effective and easy-to-use interfaces. The main topic of the Course is User Centered Design, essential for providing modern services, including those in a mobile environment. At the end of the course, the student will have focused on the salient issues inherent to human-machine interaction and will be able to design intuitive and effective interfaces.

- Teaching methods
- Frontal lesson with the aid of multimedia tools (slides, videos, etc.). Exercises during class.
- Other information
- The teacher is available to provide lectures, exercises and exam sessions in Italian, French and Spanish. The teacher is available to take the exam in English, French and Spanish.
- Learning verification modality
- The exam includes an oral exam lasting approximately 30 minutes in which the student must demonstrate mastery of the required concepts, adequate language skills and the ability to organize the concepts to be explained adequately.
- Extended program
- The course introduces the student to the basic principles of building intuitive and easy-to-use graphical interfaces and applications. The course topics are the following: Introduction to HCI; The principles of Lean Consumption; Evolution of interfaces and human-machine interaction; User Centered Design (DUC) and User Experience (UX); UX in detail; Usability; Visual Design; Emotional design. Ideation of an HCI interface (exam project) in automotive context.
