Principles of action and therapeutical aplication of the main non conventional therapeutic modalities in veterinary medicine: acupuncture, phisical rehabilitation, omeopathy, phytotherapy, nutraceuticals, stem cell therapy.

Educational objectives
The course aims to introduce students to the existence of therapeutic techniques that go beyond the parmacologic treatments, and to let them acquire basic knowledge on the mode of action and the possible applications of these tecniques in veterinary medicine.
Prerequisites
To better undertend the concepts delivered in this module, knowledge on animal anatomy and physiology are recommended.
