The internationalization of the Università degli Studi di Perugia has a significant impact on a scientific, cultural, and relational level. The University attaches great importance to international exchanges in the fields of research and education and considers the strengthening and the expansion of its network of relations with highly qualifies institutions, professors, and researchers at a global level to be strategic.

The aim is to offer professors and researchers collaboration opportunities that can introduce innovative content and methodologies, while ensuring that students receive high-quality teaching.

In this perspective, the University invites professors and researchers who meet the required criteria to carry out research or training activities at the University, fostering the exchange of skills, experiences, and knowledge and promoting a dimension of international collaboration.

The Regulation for the selection of Visiting Scientists aims to support and facilitate such exchanges, contributing to the strengthening of the University’s international profile.

 

How to invite a visiting scientist

Request for invitation to be sent to the Director of the relevant Department

Resolution of the council or Decree of the Department Director to be addressed to the Rector

Sending the request
- Visiting Professor: International Relations Area and c.c. Educational Division

- Visiting Researcher: International Relations Area and c.c. Enhancement, Promotion, and Research Evaluation Area

Deadlines for submission of request
- Visiting Professor (degree courses): October 31st of the current year, for the subsequent academic year
- Visiting Professor (PhD): October 31st and June 30th

- Visiting Researcher: October 31st and June 30th

Visiting non-EU/EEA
