How to improve your Italian before your arrival
The University of Perugia offers several opportunities to improve your Italian:
- an A1 level Italian course for beginners on the Unistudium platform where you can access with your personal credentials (username and password);
- free Italian courses at the University Language Center CLA in the first and second semesters.
To participate in the courses, you must take a face to face placement test, scheduled each year in September (annual mobility and first semester) and in February (second semester mobility).

If you achieved at least a B1 or higher level of Italian language, you will receive 4 credits (CFU) that will be included in your Transcript of Records.
