Educational objectives | Students will have to acquire a new interpretive mode of mind-body relationships through the discovery of its effects on the brain: Embodied Cognition. Overcoming classic Cognition to reach a more realistic representation of subjectivity and intersubjectivity. Applications in the field of rehabilitation are many: recovery of lost activities through the exploitation of residuals by integrating them into an over-modal approach that sees the body as a privileged learning venue. Keeping the notion that Cognition is based on perception and action, everyone can, in their privileged work environment, exploit sensory and motor resources by finding new practical operational horizons: 1) mental images 2) actions simulations during linguistic comprehension 3) Implementing new mental models during reasoning processes 4) guiding the action through object perception (Affordance) 5) re-evaluate the concept of Consciousness 6) to give new emotions to the concepts of education and learning in the context of specific learning disorders |
