Educational objectives
The course aims to provide students with an overview, with varying degrees of depth, of the main issues related to the right to organize and work, with particular attention to the analysis of the applicable law, but without neglecting the evolutionary profiles and perspectives de jure condendo. The aim of the course is to develop in students a legal method of approach to the problems of labor law interest presented by everyday reality that will resolve every question correctly applying the concepts learned. The wealth of knowledge and experience accumulated over lessons allow the student to take a position on the controversial issues and be aware of the legal consequences that derive from supporting a thesis rather than another.
Prerequisites
In order to be able to understand and know how to deal with the teaching, the student must have the knowledge of the institutions of private law and public law
Teaching methods
The course is structured as follows: lectures or flipped lesson that will focus on two parts that are closely related to each other, respectively dedicated to the study of trade union rights and the individual relationship work. Lessons include the active participation of employees of the chair and the students, so as to encourage a contradictory aims to accustom the student to be clearly presented its case in front of classmates. Students may be more willing assigned term papers and summaries of jurisprudence useful to focus on the topics covered in class. The lecture will include a series of practice exercises on sentences. Some issues can be addressed and examined in depth during seminars held by the teacher, from collaborators of the chair of labor law or by guest lecturers. During the lectures there will be midterm reviews, as agreed from the teacher with the students.
