- Banking. Credit function and monetary function. The banking authorization. The prudential supervisory on banks. Stability, transparency, and competition in the banking system. Fairness in contractual relationships between bank and customer. The provision of investment services by banks.
- Reference texts
- Concetta Brescia Morra, Il diritto delle banche, II ed., Il Mulino, only chapters I, II, III, IV, V e IX. Different texts could be allocated in accord with the docent.

- Acquisition of the basics of the discipline for further studies and work activities.

- Institution of Private Law, Constitutional Law and Commercial Law are provisional.

- Lessons and practical exercises.

- The frequency of lessons is recommended. Activities could be organised with the students during the course. Continuous student support is provided.
- Learning verification modality
- A vote is aworded at the end of an oral examination in which students discuss topics covered in the course.The examination is used to ascertain the knowledge gained by the student, his analytical skills and reasoning, the property of legal language.It begins with a general question. The duration varies depending on the performance of the examination, also with the aim of allowing the student to demonstrate the level of knowledge acquired.
- Extended program
- The course will deal with the main topics of banking law: a general overview of payment system, credit and transparency in the contracts between banks and clients, prudential supervision to promote the stability of the banking system, provision of investment services by banks.
