- Outline of Italian art from the fourth century to the Early fifteenth century:
1-From the age of Constantine until "Anno Mille": the Renascences.
2 - The Romanesque architecture and art in Europe.
3 - The arts in the thirteenth and the fourteenth century. (with special attenction to the church of St. Francesco, Assisi, and its protagonists.)

- Per affrontare lo studio si richiedono conoscenze di carattere generale sui fatti storici, sulla geografia storica e sulla letteratura del Medioevo.

- Final oral exam. The oral proof is aimed to verify the level of knowledge and of comprehension of the themes in object, as well as the ownership of the technical language and the expositive ability of the candidate.

- Un percorso sull'arte medievale in Italia dal periodo paleocristiano, alle rinascenze, al romanico e alla fase gotica e tardo gotica, con riferimenti particolari al centro della penisola.
