Educational objectives	Attraverso il complesso delle lezioni teoriche e pratiche lo studente potrà acquisire le conoscenze relative alla organizzazione e alle competenze necessarie ad affrontare con responsabilità e piena autonomia professionale le attività previste in un moderno laboratorio di Anatomia ed Istologia Patologica. Lo studente: - analizzerà i principali processi tecnici per lo sviluppo della Diagnosi Istopatologica, dovrà acquisire conoscenza delle linee guida, procedure, istruzioni operative, controllo qualità e norme di sicurezza che caratterizzano il laboratorio di Anatomia e Istologia Patologica.
Prerequisites	Nozioni e fondamenti derivanti dallo studio propedeudico delle metodiche e tecnihe di istologia
Teaching methods	Il corso prevede lezioni frontali ed è organizzato con forte impronta pratica. Gli argomenti trattati con confronti pratici da affrontare direttamente nel laboratorio.
Learning verification modality	L'esame orale verrà sostenuto collegialmente da tutti i docenti afferenti al corso di "Metodologie diagnostiche di Anatomia Patologica.
Extended program	Modalità di invio, trasporto e conservazione dei campioni al laboratorio di Anatomia e istologia Patologica. Preparazione dell'esame istologico su preparati inclusi in paraffina e su preparati sezionati al criostato. Corretta esecuzione di campioni per riduzione da pezzo operatorio. Orientamento dei campioni all'inclusione in paraffina e allestimento dei preparati. Trattamento di particolari campioni "critici": piccole biopsie, agoaspirati, biopsie cutane. Controllo qualità e sicurezza.
