Educational objectives The teaching of Nursing Methodology I, has the general objective of ensuring the student with the theoretical, methodological and technical knowledge to be able to organize a care plan for a person in compliance with their specificity and uniqueness and ensuring the best possible level of health.
The main knowledge acquired will be:
-the theories of nursing
-Introduction to the nursing care process
-Nursing assessment
-The nursing diagnosis
-Nursing documentation
- Guidelines for procedures and protocols.
The main skills that allow to apply the acquired knowledge will be:
• Define the areas of Nursing Theories
• Describe the Nursing Process by recognizing the different phases that make it up
• Identify health needs through data collection and identify a Nursing diagnosis.
Teaching methods The course is organized as follows: frontal lessons on all the course topics, guided discussions, exercises in small groups, bibliographic research.
Learning verification modality The exam includes an oral test. The oral exam consists of a discussion lasting about 10/15 minutes aimed at ascertaining the level of knowledge and understanding reached by the student on the theoretical and methodological contents indicated in the program. The oral test will also allow to verify the student's communication skills with language properties and autonomous organization of the exhibition on the same theoretical topics.
