Contents | This module is focused on architecture and correct usage of digital measurement instrumentation. To this aim, following an introduction on measurement theory, the architecture of digital measurement instrumentation is explored, using the digital multimeter as a paradigmatic example, and providing a brief introduction to the Digital Oscilloscope. The selection of the proper instrumentation as a function of the target uncertainty is discussed. The module includes some experimental verifications, aimed at providing confirmation of the theoretical content of the module |
