Educational objectives | At the end of the course the student will have acquired practical experience and knowledge of the techniques involved in rehabilitation treatment for patients with oncological pathology, with post-surgical abdominal-pelvic and thyroid iatrogenic damage. In particular, the main objective of the teaching module is to provide students with the necessary knowledge, both theoretical and practical, for the creation of an Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) for the specific clinical-functional condition, in line with the state of the art Evidence Based clinical Practice (EBP) or, in its absence, through “good clinical care practices”, according to the latest professional legislative guidelines. |
Prerequisites | Taking charge of the global rehabilitation of oncology patients, management of functional problems from iatrogenic post-surgery outcomes involving the breast, prostatic, thyroid, bladder prolapse and hysterectomy. |
