- The Developmental Psychology course will be divided into two parts: 1) the main research theories and methodologies of research in developmental psychology and 2) developmental psychology and socio-educational contexts. In the first part of the course, the main theories on development will be deepened, as well as the peculiarities of physical, motor, perceptive, cognitive, linguistic and socio-emotional development from the first years of life up to adulthood and senile age. In the second part of the course, attention will be focused on the impact that scientific knowledge acquired in the field of developmental psychology has in the context of activities and interventions carried out in socio-educational contexts.

- At the end of the course, students will have a global knowledge of the main theories and methodologies used in the field of developmental psychology
- Prerequisites
- No special prerequisites needs. The course of Developmental Psychology is a basic teaching and it is preparatory to the advanced teachings in the contest of developmental psychology and related disciplines.

- The course will offer: lectures; practical exercises and experiences; watching movies; other activities to be carried out in small and large group.
