Contents Clinical medicine. Signs and symptoms of diseases. Pain. Fever. Cardiovascular and respiratory pathophysiology. Kidney pathophysiology. Geriatric, oncologic, infectious diseases and their practical assistance organization.

Educational objectives The candidates will have to pass the six tests (one for each module) and the final vote will be the weighted average of the votes obtained in the various tests. The aim of the evaluation will be to determine whether or not have been achieved the capacities for which the teaching was set up, especially regarding the candidate's organization skills and knowledge.
Prerequisites In order to understand and know how to apply most of the information and knowledge provided by teaching in order to acquire an advanced level of study and critical analysis of clinical methodology for Government infermieristica and assistance, requires that the student has clinical and diagnostic knowledge in the areas of internal medicine, infectious diseases, oncology, cardiovascular and geriatrics. All this because the lessons will be given care paths and methods of nursing based approach and are often a practical application of the knowledge gained in these areas. The aim is to be able to coordinate projects aimed at the prevention of diseases, to be able to implement the knowledge about the characteristics of diagnostic therapeutic care and gain knowledge about different models for taking charge of the person and his family both at the territorial hospital based on integration between different professionals in order to ensure continuity of care and appropriate responses with respect to major health problems.

Extended program Assistance and organization for the patient with pain, abdominal pain, Headache, alterations in Body Temperature, Fever and Fever of Unknown Origin, alterations in respiratory Functions, dyspnea, edema, cough, hemoptysis, shock, pneumonia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Asthma, Pulmonary Embolism, Alterations in Renal and Urinary Tract Function - Azotemia and Urinary Abnormalities, Acute and Chronic Renal Failure. Oncologic, infectious, geriatric disease and practical organization.

Educational objectives Provide the student with the basic knowledge relating to the principles of care for cancer patients: recognizing signs and symptoms and the main therapeutic approaches. Learn about and treat cancer pain. Understanding the centrality of research in modern oncology. Deepen the issues related to palliative care and the management of the dying patient.

Global patient care: reception and service centers, multidisciplinary oncology groups and care pathways in oncology. Taking charge of the cancer patient from diagnosis to the end of life. Palliative care: the ethical, scientific and regulatory basis of health care at the end of life. Healthcare centers, hospice and home care: an integrated care project. - to identify and critically assess the evolution of care needs, including gender-related issue where applicable;
- to participate in planning of personal assistance needs based on the assessment of the complexity and needs of patients; promote decision-making processes and plan and intervene in complex welfare and organizational issues;
- to plan and implement, in collaboration with other professionals, educational and support interventions for individuals and communities, aimed at self-management and control of risk factors and health problems;
- to identify future skills / competences necessary to guarantee excellence, new reorganizations or new services; design, implement and evaluate the results of training interventions; identify specific problems and areas of research in the clinical, organizational and training fields.
Prerequisites It is necessary that the student has basic pathophysiological, clinical and diagnostic knowledge, as pertaining to the specific professional figure, in the area of Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine and theoretical-practical training.
