Contents
Framework of the psychological aspects related to hospitalization. Main clinical pictures that condition hospitalization in the medical and surgical area. Personal and psychological impact linked to the specific pathways of diagnosis and treatment of the main pathologies treated in the hospital, their potential impact on the quality of life level, the relational and behavioral repercussions, with particular reference to the family and caregiver.

Educational objectives
Promotion of knowledge of the elements of medicine useful for the purpose of better framing the problems and needs referable to patients admitted to hospital and long-term care facilities where continuous healthcare is provided.
