- The course will focus on presentation of the main theories related to the interview, the different models (clinical, selection and research psychological), the constitutive elements and the application areas. Furthermore, the methodology of qualitative research will be examined, from a theoretical and applicative point of view, examined the potential and the areas of application, both in epistemological and methodological aspects.

- The course proposed in the third year addresses the topic of the interview and qualitative research. It is proposed to provide the student with a knowledge and understanding of:
- relationship between the theoretical models and the operating practices of the interview in various application areas and providing the theoretical, conceptual and technical tools relating to the different types of interview (clinical, personnel selection, research);
- the lines of the development path of qualitative research also in relation to its tools and its applicability.

- The course is organized as follows:
- lectures that will focus on all issues relating to the interview and qualitative research;
- thematic insights, construction of a qualitative research project and simulation of an interview conducted through classroom workshops;
- participation in any seminars. - Other information

- Learning verification modality
- The exam only includes the final oral test which consists of an interview relating to the topics covered during the course and deepened on the texts.
The test is used to ascertain the level of knowledge and ability of understanding, as well as synthesis, achieved by the student. Furthermore, this interview will allow to verify the student's ability to communicate what has been acquired methodically, with language and exposure properties. Duration
the exam varies according to the progress of the exam itself.
The evaluation will be obtained after passing the oral exam, with the aim of verifying the acquisition of knowledge relating to the theories and techniques of the interview, the application areas and qualitative research. The timing of the oral evaluation is governed by the calendar, approved by the Department Council. - Extended program
- The course will focus on the introductory theoretical reflections on the interview, the constitutive aspects and the various types and areas of application. Furthermore, the theories of development of qualitative research from historical evolution to methodological debate, the premises, the constitutive elements and the various tools will be presented.
