Extended program | Il corso introduce alla logica intesa sia nella sua dimensione informale, sia nella sua articolazione matematico-formale, ed è volto a fornire gli strumenti di base per la corretta individuazione, valutazione e formalizzazione delle argomentazioni. Verranno inoltre fornite indicazioni su alcuni sviluppi contemporanei della logica formale e ne verranno analizzate alcune applicazioni 1. Cosa significa ragionare? La teoria dell’argomentazione e il problema filosofico delle fallacie. 2. Cosa significa dedurre? La logica proposizionale 3. "Tutti e nessuno": Diagrammi di Venn e sillogistica aristotelica. |

Contents | The course introduces to the debate about contemporary Theories of Mind comparing the intentional conceptions of mind with current attempts of naturalizing and functionalizing its nature. It will be especially investigated the relationship between time and mind. |

Educational objectives | Il corso intende fornire agli studenti i concetti e gli strumenti argomentativi relativi al dibattito attuale sulle varie concezioni della mente, In particolare sul confronto riduzionismo/antiriduzionismo. Poiché buona parte del corso è dedicata ad una certa concezione dell’intenzionalità e questa presuppone il rapporto fra attività mentale e natura del tempo, il corso offre anche le indicazioni principali sull’odierna filosofia del tempo |
