Educational objectives

The course provides grounding in Business and Company Law, covering the study of both entrepreneurs and corporations, with a focus on companies in general, partnerships and Limited Liability Companies, included restructuring and insolvency proceedings (Bankruptcy Law).
The formative objective of the course is to teach fundamentals of Business, Company and Bankruptcy Law in a critical perspective, also with an economic approach and a practical and professional perspective, on the main relevant issues.
Prerequisites

In order to be able to understand the issues of the course, students must have the basic knowledges of the Italian legal system and sources of law.
Moreover students must have passed the exam of "Private Law" (Diritto Privato).
This precondition is valid both for attending and not attending students.
Teaching methods

Frontal teaching. Presentation and discussion of case law.
Other information

Attendance is not mandatory but highly recommended.
Learning verification modality

The exam includes a final oral test consisting of a discussion-interview on the topics explained during the course and examined also through recommended text.
Moreover this interview will verify that the student is able to communicate the knowledge acquired with method and propriety of language.
The duration of the test varies, depending on the performance of the student itself.
