Educational objectives
Understanding of the physical meaning of basic concepts in Mechanics of the material point and of the rigid body. Ability to derive the theoretical results of these topics. Quantitative discussion and solution of exercises.
Prerequisites
Solution of basic integrals and basic differential equations.
Teaching methods
The course is structured as follows:
- Lectures on all topics in the current program.
- Solution of exercises for better comprehension and in preparation of the written test.
Other information

Learning verification modality
Written test and optional oral test.
Written test is about the solution of 3 exercises and/or questions about the theory.
A minimum of 18 points are required to pass the written test.
Oral test is an optional discussion about the whole program of the course.
Extended program
