The course is divided into two modules: the first is the institutional part (1492-1815) with critical lectures of Modern History documents. The second Module regards the historical sources of Early modern history

Educational objectives
Knowledge of key events of Modern History. A first acquaintance with the early modern sources (production, preservation, historical uses).
Prerequisites
It’s important to have taken at least the exam of Medieval History to understand the issues of teaching and the ways of the chronological development.

Frontal lessons with the help fo ppt, critical examination of various historical sources
