Conversation Analysis and Ethnomethodology as research approaches on political communication. The politica oratory, traditions and innovations. The political discourse as a rite. The public reaction to the politica discourse. The news interviews as political communication. Political debates in Tv. Political news and the production of objectivity. Public discussion and the rise of dialogical networks.

Educational objectives
The aim of the course is to describe and analise the fundamental approaches on political communication and political language. Particularly, it provides competence on the use of conversationa analysis and ethomethodological approaches for the study of contemporary political communication.
