Educational objectives
Knowledge of elementary subatomic Physics concepts
Prerequisites
It is essential to have coursed lectures in Calculus, mathematical methods for Physics, General Physics.

The knowledge of elementary Quantum Mechanics is very useful.
Teaching methods
face-to-face lectures; occasional use of audiovisual materal
Learning verification modality
Oral exam, consisting on an exercise taken from a list provided to the students during the lectures, aimet at
establishing the acquisition of technical skills,
and in a following oral discussion, during which two additional questions are asked, to verify the level of understanding
of the subject. The exam has a total duration of one hour.
Extended program
Elementary Scattering theory, nuclear phenomenology, simple nuclear and hadronic structure models, nuclear decays, introduction to particle Physics concepts,
applications of Nuclear and subnuclear Physics.
