Contents	The course of oral surgery of the 5th Year of the course aims to provide the student of the Degree Course the main surgical techniques of surgical avulsion of the dental elements and the knowledge of the basic methods of locoregional anesthesia of the oral cavity

Educational objectives	The in-depth knowledge of the oral cavity and the main clinical manifestations of oral diseases. The student of the course must be able to recognize the main indications to the surgical extractions with particular reference to the execution techniques and to the pre-intra and post-operative control of the patient
Prerequisites	- Knowledge of the morphological anatomy of the bone, muscle, skeletal and vasculonervous structures of the oral cavity.
Teaching methods	During the shift at the University Odontostomatological Center, the student will assist the first chair operator in order to acquire the main surgical techniques
Other information	The student will acquire basic information about basic operative techniques in the dental field
Learning verification modality	During the Academic Year the student will be subjected to periodic learning checks through direct comparison with the reference tutors. At the end of the annuity a frontal examination will verify the degree of knowledge reached.
