Contents The aim of the course is to provide the student of the degree course with the basic skills in the clinical diagnosis of periodontal disease, with particular reference to the operative therapeutic protocols
Educational objectives - Basic knowledge of the periodontal pathology in its various clinical pictures
- Knowledge of the main periodontal diagnosis indexes
-Knowledge and ability to implement operative protocols in the clinical and pharmacological treatment of periodontal disease
Prerequisites - Knowledge of the basic principles of anatomy and physiology of the oral cavity
- In-depth knowledge of dental materials with particular reference to those used in periodontal therapy
- Basic knowledge of periodontal pathology
