Educational objectives Distinguish clinical applications of different types of fractionation. Know principles and applications of the different radiotherapy techniques and associated treatments (chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy) of following diseases: breast cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer (small cell and non-small cell), cervical and endometrial cancer. Know the indications of radiation therapy in Hodgkin's lymphoma, the role of total body irradiation in bone marrow transplantation. It is also expected a knowledge of principles of palliative radiotherapy as well as the management of main side effects resulting from the mentioned treatments.
