| Extended program | CARDIOLOGY and HEART SURGERY Cardiovascular instrumental investigations and clinical applications of instrumental investigations in cardiology: ECG, echocardiography, ergometric test, myocardial scintigraphy, cardiac CT, cardiac magnetic resonance. The valvulopathies Mitral stenosis; Mitral insufficiency; combined defect Aortic stenosis; Aortic insufficiency; combined defect Valve prostheses. Surgical and interventional treatment of valvulopathies: surgical and trans-catheter replacement, valvuloplasty, other techniques. Congenital heart disease Approach to congenital heart disease: embryology of the heart, situs, atrio-ventricular connections and arterial ventricle. Pathophysiology of congenital heart disease.
