Barbara Christe "Introduction to Biomedical Instrumentation" The Technology of Patient Care 2009 - Educational objectives
- The objectives of the module are: to provide an overview of the instruments for diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation programs in use in the health and structure of computers and equipment connected to it; provide information on the potential and possibilities of application of information technology in the field of Biomedical Doctor, the risk factors linked to it, electrical safety, the basic principles for their proper use and provide an overview of the most popular technologies and used in healthcare; provide knowledge about the processes of data acquisition via computer.
The main skills (ability to apply knowledge acquired) will be the analysis and use of applications and biomedical instrumentation and their integration in the field of care. - Prerequisites
- Good knowledge of the basic statistical methodolgies.

- Read, analyze and evaluate the methodological quality of a clinical study and a guideline;
