Students will be divided into groups (maximum 25 students per group) and follow the guided exercises, each lasting 2 hours, preceded by a presentation. Educational objectives
The objectives of the module are: to provide an overview of the instruments for diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation programs in use in the health and structure of computers and equipment connected to it; provide information on the potential and possibilities of application of information technology in the field of Biomedical Doctor, the risk factors linked to it, electrical safety, the basic principles for their proper use and provide an overview of the most popular technologies and used in healthcare; provide knowledge about the processes of data acquisition via computer.

The main skills (ability to apply knowledge acquired) will be the analysis and use of applications and biomedical instrumentation and their integration in the field of care.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of the basic statistical methodolgies.

- 2 computer exercises (optional) to play in the computer lab. Students will be divided into groups (maximum 25 students per group) and follow the guided exercises, each lasting 2 hours, preceded by a presentation.

Educational objectives
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Learn about the history, philosophy and general principles of evidence-based nursing (EBN);
- Know the main sources of evidence (clinical trials);
- Know the main biomedical dtabases;
- Know the main approaches for obtaining evidence of effectiveness and related operational tools (guidelines, procedures and protocols);
- Read, analyze and evaluate the methodological quality of a clinical study and a guideline;
- Access to a database for the biomedical research of the literature.
