• Discussing the influence of the historical development of the current image of the profession of nursing.
• Explaining the types of university nursing education programs.
• Identifying the roles and responsibilities of the nursing profession in the health system.
• Describing the opportunity of career development and expanding nursing roles.
• Describing the purpose and functions of nursing organizations.
• Identifying sources of professional nursing values.
• Review the conflict of values and how to solve situations in nursing care.
