- The course aims at providing the fundamental elements about political theories and their historical development. The course aims also at providing the capability of analysing political texts.

- Essential knowledge of modern and contemporary history, history of philosophy.

- Class attendance is strongly recommended.
- Learning verification modality
- For students who attend the course, and also for non attending students, assessment consists of one oral final exam, lasting about 20 minutes. The purpose of the exam is to ascertain the level of individual students' knowledge of program contents and their ability to express them in a clear and appropriate manner.
