- The course has the purpose to let the student acquiring the ability to collect and to interpret the clinical findings of the diseases, to understand the mechanisms correlated to the diseases of Internal Medicine's interest and to interpret the disturbances and the diseases of the blood. To comprend this topics the Student must have knoledge of infectious and parasitic diseases, general pathology, animal nutrition and laboratory medicine.

- Final examination is composed of a practical test and a theoretical test. The practical test is constituted of: 1) a part of a clinical examination on small or large animal (General examination or examination of an apparatus), 2) interpretation of instrumental exams (electrocardiography and echography), 3) microscopic observation of smear of blood (MayGrunwald Giemsa). The oral exam will run for about 60 minutes covering the topics regarding the teaching modules. The examination board will evaluate the following requisites: level of knowledge of the subject matters of the applications (from 2 to 15 points) completeness (from 0 to 5 points), exposure capability (from 0 to 5 points), link capacity with other program contents of the modules (from 0 to 5 points). When the ultimate objectives of the courses have not been achieved, the student is encouraged to better verify his knowledge and possibly to make use of further explanations by contacting the lecturers. The test will then be evaluated in thirty.
