- The course explores an overview of the Dlgs.81/08 legislation application about workplace health and safety with particular attention to the assessment of the occupational risks to prevent work-related diseases. Starting from the analysis of the main Italian regulations about workplace safety and the role of prevention, the methods of risk analysis and measurement are studied to improve the quality of working life.

- The course aims to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to perform any professional activity in the field of workplace health and safety.
- Prerequisites
- In order to better understand the contents developed during the course, the student must be familiar with the field of communication, must know the main sociological theories and the main work organization models.

- The exam consists of a written exam with closed and open questions. Oral integration and specific exam methods are provided for students with specific problems (DSAs or other).
- Extended program
- 1. The legislative system: examination of the regulations in the complex socio-economic change of the company production context. The legislative evolution on work health and safety, the workers statute and the legislation on work accidents and occupational diseases insurance.
2. Legislation relating to particular work categories: child labor, atypical jobs, night work, working mothers
3. Knowledge of the approach to prevention and protection governed by Legislative Decree 81/2008 to improve the workers health and safety
4. The corporate security system: reference figures, health surveillance and the role of the occupational physician
5. Contents, structure and organization of the risk assessment document. Phases and activities of the evaluation process.
6. Knowledge of the disease elements related to the absence of corporate well-being
