Rodari, La grammatica della fantasia - Educational objectives
- The course aims to offer a panorama of children's literature by introducing the student to the most significant texts and authors both nationally and internationally through a path that starts from classic authors to contemporary ones: children's literature and lullabies, poems, nursery rhymes, fairy tales, adventures, stories, plots, characters, landscapes, genres, meanings, classic and contemporary authors, narrative styles and, above all, childhood metaphors.
The course aims to present the main literary genres through the exploration of images, books, narratives, and using a multiplicity of ways to access the story and a multiplicity of languages in order to develop a renewed awareness of the role and function of reading in the digitalized society. The course also aims to suggest correct educational and didactic paths, to provide adequate critical tools for the evaluation of books and other entertainment products in the non-alphabetical language (or not exclusively) that are proposed to children and to sharpen human, social, pedagogical and didactic sensibilities. - Prerequisites
