Contents | - Properly perform BLS, tracheal intubation and electrical defibrillation, know the resuscitation problems posed by drowning, blistering and asphyxia syndromes, know how to treat anaphylactic shock. - Know the therapeutic strategies for stabilizing vital functions and preventing post-anoxic brain damage, learning the coma semeiotics and the hypovolaemic physiopathology, being able to discriminate on the nosological and therapeutic plane acute respiratory failure from obstruction of the streets Ailments, respiratory mechanical damage, chemical drive alterations and hemodynamic causes. - Being able to adequately treat acute and chronic algae syndromes. - Addressing anesthesia as "perioperative medicine" to protect the patient from surgical trauma. |

Educational objectives | The course aims to provide students with information and tools Needed to implement basic resuscitation maneuvers, tackle Emergency clinical situations, properly treat syndromes Common algae, and use prophylactically analgesics, sedatives, Hypnotics and local anesthetics. |
Prerequisites | In order to understand the contents of lessons and learning objectives, the student must have a solid foundation of physiology, physiopathology and clinical pharmacology as well as the ability to integrate information from different disciplines. |

Educational objectives | The aim of the course is to provide students with a general overview of the diagnostic-therapeutic pathways in emergency surgery. In addition, the student should be know the main symptoms and clinical signs related to different emergency diseases. he acute abdomen. The politraumatized patient. Trauma of the abdomen, pelvis and chest. Digestive bleeding. Peritonitis and abdominal abscess. Intestinal occlusion. Retroperitoneal hematomas. Peptic ulcer complications Intestinal infarction. Acute diverticulitis and complications. The colon volvules. Perianal abscesses Acute cholecystitis and its complications Acute pancreatitis Abdominal aortic aneurysms. |
Prerequisites | Basic knowledge is need in anatomy, pathophysiology, semeiotic and surgical pathology. |
